The RP100-RX is a rack mounted power distribution unit featuring Juice Goose Hybrid Filter Technology - with high performance AC power filtration and surge protection. Power protection circuitry limits surge let through to 10 volts between line and neutral and to ½ volt on ground. EMI/RFI reduction is 60 to 80 dB at high frequencies. Compare those specifications with any power protection device you choose.
In addition to filtration and surge suppression, the RP100-RX provides protection against over voltage and faults in a facility’s wiring. In the event of power supply voltage in excess of 150 - 155 volts the Hybrid Filter control circuit will interrupt power output. Likewise, power will not reach the output receptacles if there is a fault in the wiring of either line, neutral or ground.
There are 11 outlets on the back of the RP100-RX for maximum connectivity.
The RP100-RX is enclosed in a Tour Class (TM) chassis - a road worthy case that has been time tested by touring performers who have relied on this reinforced design for decades. The main chassis is formed in a single, uni-body style. The front, bottom and back are all a single piece of cold rolled steel. The mounting brackets are formed of 11 gauge steel and fixed to the main chassis in 8 places. A RP100-RX is at home in a fixed installation as well as among rental equipment.

COMMON KNOWLEDGE
It’’s common knowledge, there are three wires leading into an electrical device (hot, neutral and ground). Therefore, there are two potential circuits, normal mode (hot to neutral) and common mode (neutral to ground).
COMMON SENSE
Hazardous surges and interference can occur on either normal or common mode circuits.
So why do some "series mode" AC protection devices ignore common mode protection? It’s common sense: half a solution is no solution. Normal and common mode noise need to be reduced.
The RX Series uses a new Hybrid Filter Technology that will not contaminate the ground. Instead, it cleans it up.
COMMON PROBLEMS
Digital, electronic equipment is sensitive to even low voltage spikes and AC frequency interference between neutral and ground wires (common mode noise). These events can create logic confusion that disrupts the function of digital processors. A significant percentage of malfunctions with sensitive equipment is due purely to common mode AC power interference. Surge suppressors and normal mode filters don’t address this problem.
Common-mode noise poses a greater threat compared to normal-mode noise because of the different path taken to dissipate the noise energy. Potentially damaging common-mode noise can be much less in magnitude than a normal-mode impulse, but much more destructive
UNCOMMON SOLUTION
The Juice Goose RX Series Hybrid Filter allows only 1/2 volt let through on the common mode and a maximum of 10 volts on the normal mode.
